Power Supply - Last run with the 12/30 before it was dismantled
Primary Capacitor - Party cup capacitor
Primary Coil - 15 turns of copper clad on 45 degree wooden supports
Secondary Coil - 1000 turns of 32 AWG magnet wire on a 2" PVC pipe wound for 8"
Maximum Arc Length:6" to a grounded object. Extreme amounts of ozone was produced (using nail as discharge terminal)

The RQ/TCBOR cylindrical Spark Gap.

The party cup capacitor in a spaghetti container filled with vegetable oil. Since this picture has been taken, three other capacitors have been made (installed in 4" PVC pipes BTW). All of them worked at one time. Capacitance was estimated at about 2nF-3nF, and they all took the voltage. The problem being the plates would loose their connection with the contact strip and start to arc inside, preventing it from charging up enough for the SG to fire.

Here is the 12/30 NST. You can see the safety gaps comming off of the output bushings.
